Lynyrd Skynyrd is an influential American Southern Rock group. Along with the Allman Brothers Lynyrd Skynyrd were one of the two definitive Southern Rock acts of all time. But while the Allman Brothers were famed for technically adept improvisation Lynyrd Skynyrd were better known for their hard edged Rock sound and lifestyle.
